ESG 3.2V100AH Lithium Battery

Basic parameters

Voltage: The nominal voltage is 3.2V, the charging cut-off voltage is generally around 3.65V, and the discharging cut-off voltage is usually not less than 2.0V-2.5V (specific values may vary depending on different manufacturers and application scenarios).

Capacity: 100Ah (ampere hours) represents the ability of a battery cell to discharge continuously for 100 hours at a current of 1A or for 1 hour at a current of 100A under specific discharge conditions. The stored energy can be calculated using the formula (energy=voltage x current x time), with a nominal energy of approximately. Size and weight: The size and weight of 3.2V 100Ah lithium battery cells produced by different manufacturers may vary. Generally speaking, its size may be in the range of length (150-300mm), width (50-100mm), and height (10-30mm), and its weight may be around 1.5-2.5kg.

Energy density: It has a higher energy density and can store more electrical energy with the same volume and weight compared to traditional batteries such as lead-acid batteries. For example, its energy density may be between 120-180 Wh/kg, which makes it advantageous in applications that require weight and volume, such as portable energy storage devices.

    Charge and discharge efficiency:

Charging efficiency: Charging time depends on the charging current and charger performance. If charged at a charging rate of 0.3C-0.5C (where C is the capacity of the battery cell, 0.3C is equivalent to 30A-0.5C or 50A), it takes approximately 2-3.3 hours to fully charge. During the charging process, its charging efficiency is high, and the loss of electrical energy converted into chemical energy is relatively small.

Discharge efficiency: During the discharge process, it can output current with relatively stable voltage and high output power. For example, when supplying power to small electric devices, it can continuously and stably output electrical energy until it approaches the discharge cut-off voltage.

Cycle life: Under appropriate charging and discharging conditions, the cycle life is relatively long, generally reaching around 1000-3000 cycles. Cycle life refers to the complete number of times a battery is discharged from a fully charged state to the discharge cut-off voltage, and then recharged to a fully charged state. For example, in energy storage systems, after years of frequent charging and discharging, a certain capacity can still be maintained to store electrical energy.

Self discharge rate: The self discharge rate is relatively low, and when stored at room temperature, the monthly self discharge rate is usually around 3% -8%. This means that if the battery cell is fully charged and left for a month, the power loss is relatively small, and compared to batteries with higher self discharge rates such as nickel cadmium batteries, it has better storage performance.
