Basic parameters
Voltage: The nominal voltage is 3.2V, the charging cut-off voltage is generally around 3.65V, and the discharging cut-off voltage is usually not less than 2.0V-2.5V (specific values may vary depending on different manufacturers and application scenarios).
Capacity: 100Ah (ampere hours) represents the ability of a battery cell to discharge continuously for 100 hours at a current of 1A or for 1 hour at a current of 100A under specific discharge conditions. The stored energy can be calculated using the formula (energy=voltage x current x time), with a nominal energy of approximately.
Size and weight: The size and weight of 3.2V 100Ah lithium battery cells produced by different manufacturers may vary. Generally speaking, its size may be in the range of length (150-300mm), width (50-100mm), and height (10-30mm), and its weight may be around 1.5-2.5kg.
Performance characteristics
Energy density: Compared to traditional lead-acid batteries, it has a higher energy density and can store more electrical energy in a smaller volume and weight, making it suitable for use in devices that require weight and volume, such as portable energy storage devices.
Charge and discharge efficiency:
Charging efficiency: If charged at a charging rate of 0.3C-0.5C, it takes approximately 1.6-2.67 hours to fully charge. The loss of converting electrical energy into chemical energy during the charging process is relatively small.
Discharge efficiency: It can stably output current and high output power during discharge, and can provide continuous and stable power supply for various equipment. For example, when supplying power to small electric equipment, it can maintain stable voltage output until it approaches the discharge cut-off voltage.
Cycle life: Under appropriate charging and discharging conditions, the cycle life is relatively long, generally reaching 1000-3000 times or more. It has obvious advantages in long-term use scenarios such as energy storage systems, and can maintain a certain capacity for storing electrical energy for many years.
Self discharge rate: The self discharge rate is relatively low, and the monthly self discharge rate is usually around 3% -8% when stored at room temperature. After being fully charged and left for one month, the power loss is relatively small, and the storage performance is better than high self discharge rate batteries such as nickel cadmium batteries.
